• Property address and location data (for solar feasibility)
• Annual energy consumption and utility rate information
• Project description and service inquiries
• A randomly generated visitor ID stored in your browser (no personal data)

We do not collect payment information. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To respond to your inquiry or service request
• To provide the solar feasibility estimate and related results
• To maintain a log of project inquiries for our records (Google Sheets)
• To prefill forms during your visit (localStorage, browser only — never sent to server without your action)

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties for marketing.

4. Third-Party Services

Our website uses:

• Cloudflare (Workers, Pages, Turnstile) — for hosting, security, and bot protection. Cloudflare's Privacy Policy applies.
• Google APIs (server-side only) — Address validation, geocoding, and solar data via our backend Worker. No Google JS libraries run in your browser.
• NREL PVWatts — For solar energy estimates. Address and location data transmitted.
• Google Sheets (via Google Apps Script) — Lead capture and inquiry management. Data is retained for business record purposes.

5. Data Retention

Inquiry and feasibility submission data is retained in our Google Sheets for a period of up to 3 years for business record purposes. You may request deletion by emailing info@rhemworks.ca.

6. Your Rights (PIPEDA)

Under Canada's PIPEDA, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of personal information we hold about you. Contact us at info@rhemworks.ca to exercise these rights.

7. LocalStorage Notice

This site stores your entered information in your browser's localStorage for convenience — so forms can be prefilled during your session and across return visits. This data stays in your browser and is only transmitted to our server when you submit a form. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings or using the "Clear my data" option in any form footer.
