Pre- and post-development hydrology, BMP design, erosion and sediment control, and Conservation Authority / municipal approval support: required for development and large-scale energy projects.
Yes: most municipalities and Conservation Authorities require SWM plans for large ground-mount solar installations, especially on sites larger than 5 acres. Panel arrays change surface runoff characteristics, and access roads create impervious area. We coordinate the SWM design with your electrical site plan.
Common BMPs include wet/dry stormwater ponds, bioswales, permeable pavement, infiltration trenches, underground storage, and oil-grit separators (OGS). Selection depends on site constraints, downstream sensitivity, and municipal preferences.
